The Black Diamond Speed 40 is an all-purpose, spartan rucksack for serious mountain use. The top-loading Speed 40 and smaller 30 are perfect choices for all-day missions in the Rockies, Alps or Snowdon Range. The Speed 40 uses the V-Lite suspension for stability. The padded hipbelt is removable and there is top load access. Other alpine specific features include ice tool loops, a crampon patch, 3-point haul system, and the pack is hydration compatible.
